New Year, New Blog Post

Happy New Year from your favorite Buttercup. I hope that things are already working in your favor and in a positive way. I've got big plans for this year, but then again when don't I have big plans? I'm excited to fill you in on what has been going on, and what's to come.

First things first: R e l o c a t i o n

- I've moved. I have thrown caution to the wind and risked everything to chase my dreams. I figured that I was going broke and insane, might as well throw a 2,200 mile move into the mix while draining my savings.

The odds really seemed against us, and it almost didn't happen. Scummy movers, and the old building trying to scam us was not at all ideal, but we made it out in the end. Sadly, we are going to have to miss the Minnesotan winter (awh shucks, damn, shoot, oh really? awh man oh geeze).

Second things second (cause that's how counting works): I've become a full time streamer.

- I haven't exactly been able to find conventional work since moving. The SoCal job market is a tough thing filled with tons of competition. This led to me streaming everyday. I continued and continued and now I stream on a set schedule, am 10th in the world for speedrunning Link's Awakening Any% Glitchless.

It's been crazy so far, especially with 24 hour streams. I just completed my first one over New Years, and honestly I still feel like I'm recovering.

Three thingy: The new album

- What started to be an EP is turning into a full album. The troubles involved with this are the fact that I no longer have access to music editing software, My bandmate is still in Minnesota, and I haven't found a single can of Hamms since I moved out here. All of these factors have slowed the process, but not brought it to a stop.

Thanks for being here with me through the years. There are some of you that continue to push me to follow my dreams and it truly means the world to me. With streaming, live performance, and a shit load of coffee, I have no doubt that 2020 will be the beginning of something beautiful.

Never stop chasing your dreams. You're going to die one day anyway, might as well spend your time on earth doing what you love.

Until next time :)

Cheers,

Kyle (BuhDihKuh) Arneson
